Dr. Geoffrey R.L. Gillespie, DMD FICOI

Dr. Gillespie is has been practising in Dundarave in West Vancouver for almost 10 years. He is a graduate with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. In 1999, he was one of the youngest dentists to graduate in North America and was awarded honours in Oral Surgery and Restorative dentistry. In Chicago in 2005, he was awarded Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists for dental Implant Surgeries and Bone grafting.

A graduate of the world reknowned Misch Implant Institute, Dr. Gillespie has developed his career with continuous investment in his education and skills, joining some of the world's best educators in seminars and hands-on training. He was featured in Fashion Magazine in the last several years as "WHO TO SEE IN COSMETIC DENTISTRY."

Dr. Gillespie's focus is in cosmetic and implant dentistry and he enjoys providing exemplary service from the smallest fillings and whitening, to full mouth reconstruction and advanced crown and implant cases. Invisible braces or Invisalign have become popular with his patients wanting a straighter smile without conventional braces. He bends over backwards to make your dental experience enjoyable and looks forward to building a relationship and being your dentist for the next thirty years.

Dr. Mark Spooner, DMD

As a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Fraser Valley Dental Association and the International Team for Implantology, Dr. Spooner is committed to providing the best possible care and dental health to all of our current and future patients.

Dr. Spooner grew up in West Vancouver and graduated from West Vancouver Secondary School. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree from UBC and then went on to his dream of dentistry, graduating from the UBC Dental School as a top student in 1984.

Mark recently sold his successful dental practice in North Delta, having grown weary of the commute from West Vancouver after 20 years. He enjoys a much shorter drive to our office here in Dundarave!

Dr. Spooner is a long time active member of both Hollyburn Country Club and the Capilano Golf Club, where he enjoys competing in golf, hockey and squash.  Mark recently competed in the Canadian mid-amateur golf championship.  He also serves as a director on the board at the Capilano Golf and Country Club. 

Katie, Treatment Coordinator

Katie grew up in North Vancouver and graduated from Handsworth Secondary. She continued with her studies at BCIT in Dental office management. Katie is a whiz at squeezing emergency patients into our busy days and dealing with insurance companies. She likes to travel and spend time with her family in Kelowna.

Marion, Treatment Coordinator

The most experienced member of our team, Marion prides herself on keeping our office running punctually and efficiently. When not holding down the fort here at Bellevue West Dental, she is usually kept busy with her energetic grandchildren.

Kathryn, Certified Dental Assistant

An experienced implant assistant, Kathryn is a member of the ICOI and has attended numerous continuing dental education courses. Outside the office she enjoys spending time at the barn with her dog (Bailey) and horse (Chloe).

Deep, Dental Hygienist

A recent graduate of the Oxford College of Dental Hygiene in Toronto, she takes pride in her accurate technique. Deep is a big fan of hockey and the Vancouver Canucks, she also enjoys badminton.

Julia, Dental Hygienist, Bachelor's

Gentle hands compliment her expanded education as Julia has now finished her Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from UBC. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys dancing, rollerblading and baking.

Alyssa, Certified Dental Assistant

An experienced Certified Dental Assistant since 1992 in cosmetic procedures and root canal therapy. She loves to travel and when not playing softball, you'll find her playing darts competitively.
